Thelma Pernella Louise Collins Jennette,86, of 3206 Kensington Park Dr. died Friday, November 30, 2018 at CarolinaEast Medical Center., New Bern.

The family will receive friends at the home of Tonya Collins 1206 Kinston Street from 6 to 9:00 PM.  Viewing hours are  10:00 AM to 6:00 PM Wednesday at Oscar's Mortuary, Inc.

Her funeral service is 11:00 AM, Thursday, December 6, 2018 at Pilgrim Chapel FWB Church 2420  Hwy. 55 W.  The interment will follow at St. Mark Church Cemetery, Jasper Community.

She is survived by two daughters, Theresa Ann Fonville and Tonya Collins both of New Bern; four sons,  Felix Collins, Charlotte, NC, Kenneth Collins, New Bern, NC, Roger Collins, Chapel Hill, NC and Alvin Jennette, New York, NY; one sister, Lois Collins Davis, New Bern; thirteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

    Tonya, Brian told me of your mom's passing. Life does not seem fair sometimes but now you just need to focus on the happy times you shared. I was surprised how hard my dad's death was even though it was expected. Take care, pull your family close and spoil that grandbaby! -Graham
