Celebration of life will be held on 2pm Saturday, October 27th, 2018 in the Clarence Jimerson Memorial Chapel of Serenity Funerals. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, October 26th, 2018 from 12-5pm.

To the family of my dear friend James Brookins aka Spoon. The world and you have lost a wonderful man with the biggest heart. Worked with him for over 7 years but was tied to him through my daughter. They went to school together from K-12th grade. You will be miss dear friend and I will be praying for your family for God to be with them during this difficult time in their life. 3 Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God.
What a loving God who cares about each one of us.
He didn't intend for us to grow old and die. He thus has made the SURE promise of a resurrection right here on earth when it is restored to a beautiful paradise (Psalms 37:9-11, 29; Acts 24:15; Isaiah 55;11).
Can you see yourself welcoming back to life your loved ones? What a joy it will bring all of us.
