Sylvia Loretta Whitfield Jones, 76, of Charlotte formerly of New Ben died Sunday, September 30, 2018 at Carolina Medical Center Main in Charlotte.

The family will received friends Monday 10:00 AM at Clinton Chapel A. M. E. Zion Church 1015 Church New Bern followed by the memorial service at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow  in Greenwood Cemetery.

She is survived by her son, Russell  Jones of Poolesville, MD; daughters, Tonia Williams of Charlotte and Tammy McQuire of Chicago, IL; five grandchildren.
