Jafus Haynes, 87, of New Bern died Friday, September 28, 2018 at CarolinaEast medical Center.

His service is 2:00 PM, Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery Chapel  110 Montford Rd., Jacksonville.

He is survived by two sisters, Eva Mae Stringer of Silver Creek, MS and Ruby Shelton of Chicago, IL.
