While we knew each other as little children growing up in the James City community, we only became friends in our senior years. There was a special pleasure derived from us calling each other Hopsie and Nee Nee in our personal conversations. I will truly miss my friend. She often spoke of a time when one day we would lie down and not get up or leave home and not return. We just did not expect it to be so soon.

Expressing my sincere condolences to the family. It had been a few years since I last had the opportunity to talk to NeeNee, but always had the same smile and laugh I had grown to like since we were kids in James City. She has added one more big smile in heaven!
