He grew up in loving home with his six siblings, August, Jr., James, Clarence, Bobbie, Doris and Rose Mary. They shared a loving and unbreakable bond. The family later relocated to Fort Worth, Texas.  “And a time to learn and teach”… He accepted Christ a young age and was baptized in Brenham, Texas. He attended school in the Itasca Public School System. A time to love, Major was blessed to become the father to a wonderful daughter, Yolanda Yvette. He enjoyed spending time with his family and his friends. His family meant everything to him and were considered his rock. He spent his free time fishing, playing pool and was very fond of dancing. His bright and outgoing spirit became a beacon of light and joy to his family, along with anyone that had the honor of being around him. Major was funny, loving, and never knew a stranger.  “And a time to die”… We shall behold Him, face to face, in all of His glory. On July 30, 2018, Major heard the call of his Master, saying, “come unto me all that are heavy laden, and I will give thee rest,” and he took his hand. He is now reunited with his parents, August and Adell Bell; three brothers, August Bell, Jr., James Bell and Clarence Bell; and three sisters, Bobbie Bell, Doris Bell Bonner and Rose Mary Bell Wilkerson. “I will not leave you comfortless”…. Those left awaiting the great coronation are his beloved daughter, Yolanda Yvette Bell; six step children; grandchildren, Bobby Powe, Thbaron Powe, TeKisha Smith, Brandon Powe and Brianna Davis; cousins, Rev. Shirley B. Davis and Maurice Bell; and a host of other relatives and friends.

We're so sorry to hear you are grieving the loss of your dear loved one. May you find strength and some comfort in the words found in Nahum 1:7 which reads: ”Jehovah is good, a stronghold in the day of distress. He is mindful of those seeking refuge in him.” Our loving God cares about us and is ready to bring us comfort if we allow him (1John 5:14). He also has made the provision of a resurrection RIGHT HERE ON EARTH when it is restored into a beautiful paradise. Can you see yourself welcoming back to life your dear loved one? Find out more about this resurrection online at JW.ORG
