Nell Frances Brown Gibbs, 80, of New Bern died Saturday August 18, 2018.
Family and friends may express condolences at the home of her son 104 Batchelder Road.
Her funeral service is Noon Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Rio Grande M. B. Church 1125 Spring Garden Road. The burial will follow at New Bern Memorial Cemetery.
A native of New Bern, she was a member of Rio Grande M. B. Church serving as Senior Choir President and Mother of the Church.
She is survived by two sons, Quille "Skip" Canady and Randall Keith Canady both of New Bern; one brother, Thomas Simmons of New Bern; one sister, Alfreda Collins of New Bern; six grandchildren.
