Mr. Alvin Herndon age 72

of Hamlet Street, Lincolnton, North Carolina transitioned on

Sunday, August 12, 2018 at CHS-Northeast, Concord, North Carolina.

He was born in Lincoln County, North Carolina on October 24, 1945 to the late Allen Herndon and Elizabeth Webber Herndon.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday, August 16, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Ebony & White’s Chapel. Burial is private. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service.

    ???From me to you and the family, please accept my deepest sympathy for the loss of a dear loved one. I know how it is to lose a loved one in death I have lost some. What I find comforting is what Jesus asks us to pray for.(Matthew 6:9,10) God's Kingdom will bring the dead back to life here on Earth to live forever not back to life in heaven. (Matthew 6:9,10; Acts 24:15; Psalms 37:11,29; Psalms 115:16) There's more of what God's Kingdom will do like old will be young again, no will cause any harm, All Wars will be gone forever, death and tears will be gone forever. (Job 33:24,25; Isaiah 11:9; Isaiah 2:4; Psalms 46:8-10; Isaiah 25:8; Revelation 21:3-5) There's much much more comfort you and the family can get if you email me at wanttohelponesthataresad@gmail.com

    We're so sorry you are mourning the loss of your dear loved one. Not much can soothe the pain this sorrow brings, but we hope the words of Psalms 34:18 can help some. It reads: “Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit.” We can rely on our loving God to provide comfort in these troublesome times. He also has made the sure promise of a resurrection RIGHT HERE ON EARTH when it is restored into a beautiful paradise! (Acts 24:15; Psalms 37:9-11, 29).
