Dorothy and I were in the same small MSW class at Savannah State. We often were on the same teams for presentations, group projects, etc. We then went on to work together at St. Joseph's in Savannah for many years. She was a kind, sweet person. She will be missed.

To family and friends my deepest sympathy for the loss of your loved one. Losing a loved one in death is very painful. Almighty God Jehovah (Psalms 83:18;God's name) promises that he will resurrect millions of people who have died. Isaiah 26:19 ..."And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." "There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and unrighteous." Read John 5:28,29. What a wonderful time that will be when we will see our loved ones again right here on the earth! Learn more about Jesus Christ and how he will make God's wonderful promises come true at jw.org. May the God of comfort and tender mercies sustain you during this most difficult time. 2 Corinthians 1:3,4

I'm so sorry to hear you are grieving the loss of your dear loved one. May you find strength and some comfort in the words found in Nahum 1:7 which reads: ”Jehovah is good, a stronghold in the day of distress. He is mindful of those seeking refuge in him.” Our loving God cares about us and is ready to bring us comfort if we allow him (1John 5:14). He also has made the provision of a resurrection RIGHT HERE ON EARTH when it is restored into a beautiful paradise. Can you see yourself welcoming back to life your dear loved one? Dorothy and I met in 1982 at Ft. Leonard Wood, NO. We were both prior military and our friendship lasted through DLIFLC and all the courses we had to c9mplete before heading to Germany together. We were part of a small group of linguists at Katterbach. We were even slated to return to DLIFLC for another language but I got out to start my family. O regret that I did not stay in contact with Dorothy but I will hold her in heart as a forever friend! See you in Glory Dorothy!
