Drummond 31 of Tifton, Ga. departed this life Wednsday , june 27 at Tift Regional Medical Center, funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Southview Mortuary Chapel with Committal services to follow at Oakridge Cemetery and a repast will conclude at The Tifton Welcome Station.

We're so sorry to hear you are mourning the recent loss of your loved one. May you find strength and comfort from the words of Psalms 46:1 which reads: "God is our refuge and strength, A help that is readily found in times of distress."
Our loving God is there for us if we ask for his help (1 John 5:14). He didn't intend for us to grow old and die. He thus has made the SURE promise of a resurrection RIGHT HERE ON EARTH when it is restored to a beautiful paradise (Psalms 37:9-11, 29; Acts 24:15; Isaiah 55;11).
Can you see yourself welcoming back to life your loved ones? What a joy it will bring all of us.

I had the honor to teach Miles in Kindergarten. He was one of the smartest, kindest,and most respectful child I ever taught in my 20 years of teaching in public schools. Miles was an amazing person. I only met him a few times and it was years ago but he had a way about him that just touched your soul. To know him, was to know true goodness in a person. He had more passion for life in his short years than most people would have in a lifetime. Miles and I had mutual friends and I know their heart is hurting. Miles made my 4H days so incredibly full and fun. No one could make a room light up and laugh the way Miles could and whether it was DPA trips or staying up all night at lock-ins Miles always made it a party. I remember hearing Miles was moving back to Tifton after graduating and I was so surprised and impressed that he took his many talents and his education and wanted to use it to make Tifton a better place.
